Australia — Arrival

I've just returned to Copenhagen from a wonderful six week trip to Australia. Having not been back in over two years since first leaving in late 2007, the experience was certainly an enjoyable one, with plenty of reunions with family and friends achieved, wonderful food eaten, and spectacular scenery soaked in. I'm going to split the archiving of the trip over a few posts, each focusing on a different aspect. As the title suggests, this one is about our arrival and first few hours on Australian soil.
