Stine and I flew down to Warsaw, Poland on Thursday evening for a weekend of relaxation, luxury, culture and food. We managed to succeed on all fronts.
Warsaw turned out to be a wonderful host: the weather was near perfect, streets walkable, public transport frequent and cheap, and the food and drink surpassing expectations without putting a hole in the wallet. The only exception to that last point was the accidental ingestion of a street food vendor sample which turned out to be not too dissimilar to the scrapings of a cold barbeque left overnight smeared on some dry bread.
Aside from this, we both thorougly enjoyed our brief visit and would urge you to consider Poland as a destination worth considering.
